This is the Jumeirah Beach Hotel taken from the restaurant of the Burj Al Arab hotel. Both hotels are about the best there is until the Burj Dubai is completed sometime next year.

Would very much like take a 'test drive' of living (and making a living) in Dubai. It is just fascinating to me how that place mushroomed from the sand and virtually everything that can be found to have been brought there.
